Joseph Phelps Vineyards
St. Helena, California
BCV is proud to announce that Joseph Phelps Vineyards is now receiving guests at its reimagined winery and landmark vineyard in St Helena. The project adds an enhanced connection to the surrounding landscape and features broadly differentiated tasting experiences for guests. First designed by architect John Marsh Davis, the main of the building was constructed in 1973 with commanding views of Spring Valley, Napa Valley and the Mayacamas Mountains beyond. In keeping with Joseph Phelps’ ongoing vision, the project increases the Winery’s ability to host visitors in a powerful new architectural setting and to feature tasting experiences at a range of scales, from the Great Hall to the intimate Backus Room. The project further expands Joseph Phelps Vineyards’ food program and provides offices for staff on a new second floor carved out of the original building.
